CHRIS HO
LAMW'S 2003 HONOREE

Chris Ho is a bnIIiant up and coming jazz composer and keyboard artist. His band is
comprised of virtuoso
Los Angeles local musicians who are also great friends. "Real Music
By Real Men in Real Time" is the
album motto for Chris' debut CD," Lifetime."   Born in Los
AngeIes,  Chris studied music at UCLA and
Cal State Northridge. But his real education in music
came fiom playing in hundreds of bands and
transcribing recordings.  Chris almost missed his high
school graduation because of a rehearsal at Busch Gardens
,
Van Nuys, CA for a summer gig in the
show band. He has since played for Jay Leno and Robin Williams at The
Comedy Store, Smokey
Robinson, Janet Jackson, Kalapana, Russ Freeman, Kenny G, SteveVai and many
local rock
and jazz groups in both the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. Chris has penned over 6000
pieces in ballet, electronic
and midi forms, rock, R&B, gospel, film music,
new wave, punk, and musical theater.
